OTD Management
All suppliers are
expected to deliver on time. On time is defined as up to 3 days early and 0
days late. In the event that any goods are not shipped in accordance with
required / agreed delivery dates, suppliers agree to ship via air freight (or
as directed by Sensata) and to pay for all extra costs.
Failure to meet
agreed upon delivery shall be considered a breach of contract.
Unless otherwise
agreed in writing, suppliers shall not make commitments for material in
production in excess of the amount or in advance of the time necessary to meet
Sensata's delivery schedule. It is the suppliers responsibility to comply with
schedules, but not anticipate Sensata's requirements. Goods shipped to Sensata
in advance of schedule may be returned to Seller at Seller's expense. Sensata
may reschedule the delivery of any unshipped product for later delivery within
ninety (90) days of the originally scheduled delivery date.
